Tips For Trouble Golf Shots: From Awkward Lies To Difficult Weather
In this section of the site, you'll find video lessons and tips for a range of trouble shots in golf. And what do we mean by 'trouble shots'? Here are some examples...
o Playing from sloping lies
o Hitting out of thick rough or a heavy lie
o Hitting from a bare lie (ground is very dry and hard)
o Playing in difficult weather conditions
o Playing from a plugged or sloping lie in a bunker
Although it's good to build up a repertoire of different shot techniques, you'll have more success if you build them on top of solid fundamentals.
Many of the trouble shot tips below are tweaks on the standard golf set up and swing, so it might be worth re-visiting some of those lessons first.
